On March 24, 2011 Institute of Society Transformation with Poltava Regional Branch of Main Department of Civil Service of Ukraine and Poltava University of Economics and Trade carryed out the informational-awareness workshop “Choice of security model in the context of national interests of Ukraine”. The event was organized in cooperation with Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Poltava Regional State Administration, Poltava Regional Council with the support of Friedrich Naumann Foundation For Freedom.

On February 25, 2011 in Kyiv Institute of Society Transformation (Director – Oleh Soskin) carried out presentation of the book “City Branding: the Experience of the Visegrad Group Countries for Ukraine”. The book was issued with the support of the International Visegrad Fund in the frameworks of the international project “Branding and promotion of the small cities according to the standards of the European Union: experience of the Visegrad Group countries for Ukraine”.

In the article Dr. Oleh Soskin, Professor of National Academy of Management, Director of Institute of Society Transformation, makes an analysis of the structural cross-section of economic development; substantiates the existence of a direct connection between the structuring of the economy and its development; reveals the main macroeconomic imbalances and structural crisis which are native to Ukraine; proves that the achievement of relative macro-economic equilibrium and competitive development may only be done by the structure reforming; defines the basic approaches to its implementation.

Institute of Society Transformation (Director - Oleh Soskin) in the frameworks of the international project “Branding and promotion of the small cities according to the standards of the European Union: experience of the Visegrad Group countries for Ukraine” issued the book "City Branding: the Experience of the Visegrad Group Countries for Ukraine". The book which is a final intellectual product of the project, consists of three sections. In the first section, the essence of place branding (country, region, city) is explained. In the second, the best practices of cities brand formation in the Visegrad Group countries are presented. In the third section, analytical reviews of the three international training sessions which have been carried out within the project framework in the frontier cities of Ukraine are shown.

Director of Institute of Society Transformation, Professor of National academy of management Oleh Soskin is telling us about the world economic crisis, complicated social-economic situation in our country and the way out of crisis. The faster Ukraine wakes up and becomes free from being in bondage to regime Yanukovych-Azarov, that faster we will overcome the crisis. Here is the answer to the question “When will Ukrainians start living as people not as beggars” [Newspaper “Silski visti”, № 143, December 9, 2010].

On November 26, 2010 in border city Novovolynsk (Volyn region) was held international seminar-training on the theme: “Branding and promotion of small towns according to the standards of the European Union: experience of the Visegrad Group countries for Ukraine”. The event was held in the framework of the international project, which carried out by Institute of Society Transformation (IST) together with the International Visegrad Fund.

Research articel of Oleh Soskin, Institute of Society Transformation Direcotr, offers a basis analysis of social-economic indicators of development in Ukraine, its dynamics, and compares analogical economical rates of development of Western countries, proving that models of state-monopoly, clan-oligarchic capitalism, which for the time being prevails in Ukraine have depleted its potential. It is pointed out that the maintenance of a competitive development economic model in Ukraine requires replacement by the more effective – model of people’s capitalism. It proposes the ways of transition to this model.

Ukrainian National Conservative Party considered unconstitutional the consideration by the Cabinet Ministers of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine the draft Tax Code of Ukraine and its adoption on first reading on October 7, 2010. For the current Parliament of the sixth convocation led by Vladimir Litvin and the Government of Ukraine headed by Mykola Azarov are unconstitutional authorities according to the September 30, 2010 Constitutional Court decision on the unconstitutionality of the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine" of 8 December 2004, number 2222-IV.

Ukrainian National Conservative party  is confident that given the current Constitutional Court decision, the President of Ukraine must first dissolve the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, as it is now unconstitutional, and therefore one which usurped power in the state. Second, the President of Ukraine must dismiss the entire Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine headed by Mykola Azarov and form a provisional government.
