SEVASTOPOL IN REAL TIME
Competition of two presidential parties |
On-line Internet-conference will take place on December 24, 2004 (Friday) from 13.00 to 15.00 on the website www.conference.osp-ua.info. The participants of the on-line conference are Pavlo Ignatenko, the chief of the election office of V. Yushchenko in Sevastopol, Olena Mazur, the representative of Yushchenko’s following group, the deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the 3rd convocation, and Vadim Kolesnichenko, the representative of the election office of V. Yanukovych in Sevastopol, the deputy chief of the regional branch of the organization of Party of Regions in Sevastopol, the lawyer of the Crimean board of lawyers.
The repeated voting of the second tour of the presidential elections in Ukraine will take place on December 26, 2004. Social-political situation in the country is not very simple on the eve of this significant event. Some strain appeared in relations between the citizens, who live in the western and central regions of Ukraine, on the one hand, and the dwellers of southern and eastern regions, on the other hand. The similar situation occurred due to the absence of trustworthy and objective information about the real intentions and program purposes of the presidential contenders of Ukraine, for instance in Crimea. The open presentation of political positions of V. Yushchenko and V. Yanukovych and interactive communication of people from different regions of Ukraine will happen during Internet-conference of the representatives of the election offices of two candidates in Sevastopol. It will enable Ukrainian citizens to comprehend the situation in the country and to make the right decision during the voting on the presidential elections.
