| All-Ukrainian public-opinion poll on the attitude of Ukrainian citizens towards Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine |
The poll was realized on request of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine with the support of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Ukraine.
Head of the project – Institute of Society Transformation (Director - Oleh Soskin).
With the expert support of the scientists-sociologists of the Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko (Dean of the Sociology Department – Andriy Horbachyk; Higher Senior Officer – Yevhen Siryy) and Ukrainian Fond „Public opinion” (President – Volodymyr Podgornov, Lviv).
On the basis of the methodology, worked up by the Institute of Society Transformation using experience of the states - NATO members of the last two enlargement waves.
The poll was conducted by the Sociological Consortium, consisting of heads of the scientific-research, expert and university sociological centers from all regions of Ukraine.
For the poll conduction was created a unified methodic for the examination of the external policy orientations among citizens that gives possibility to make comparative analysis and to reveal the tendencies of the different regions population preferences. This methodic is laid down in the concept of monitoring for the Ukrainians attitude towards Euro-Atlantic integration.
The period of the partial survey conduction: November 13 – 24, 2008.
General totality of the research: citizens of Ukraine from 18 and older.
Volume of the partial totality: 2000 respondents.
Partial totality reflects general according to such main indexes as age and gender. The pick quote was measured according to the statistics over the structure and demographical qualifications of the Ukrainian population in its particular regions, datum of the Institute of Statistics of Ukraine on 1.01.2007.
The pick type: multistage, accidental, pick quote as the last step.
The standard interview "face-to-face” at the respondents place was used.
System OSA was used for giving and analysis of information.
