| Statement of Ukrainian National Conservative Party “Establishment of state control above Internet resources is the way to dictatorship” |
Ukrainian National Conservative Party (UNCP) reprobates the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, signed by Prime Minister of Ukraine Y. Tymoshenko, where Security Service of Ukraine was charged to develop a draft law “About making alterations to some Ukrainian legislative acts about state registration of the Internet-editions” which offers to confirm procedure of state registration of Internet-editions by a grant them of status of mass medias.
The history dealing with the attempting of registration of Internet-editions as mass media counts decade in Ukraine already. By such method clan-corporate groups which took power in Ukraine want to set total control after civil society and informative space of Ukraine. Clearly, in the conditions of present systemic crisis a ruling layer and oligarchic structures are not advantageous, that reliable and truthful state information spread in a country, about the mechanisms of robbery of the Ukrainian people and about those persons which took Ukraine to ruin.
In such situation the far of Internet resources, obviously, becomes dangerous, and that is why on them want to throw on a loop, in a better situations to destroy quite. Exactly thus the totalitarian dictatorial modes operate in Russia, Belarus, China, North Korea, Venezuela and a number of the African countries, where the Internet is controlled most.
Consequently, giving Security Service of Ukraine similar commissions, Prime Minister of Ukraine Y. Tymoshenko and Government headed by it had showed once again their no supporting to democratic processes in our country. Freedom of speech and free Internet were needed Y. Tymoshenko only then, when she fought for imperious olympic. Present Prime Minister has broken through to power on the support of Ukrainian people due to times of „orange revolution” which purchased scale character also not in the last turn due to the Internet. Today dictatorial face of Y. Tymoshenko and her thirst to establishment of totalitarian model of power in Ukraine had become all opened and obvious millions of the Ukrainian citizens.
UNCP reprobates the actions of Prime Minister of Ukraine Y. Tymoshenko and her Government, directed on establishment of state control above Internet resources in Ukraine. We apply to all democratic forces, honest journalistic layers, to Internet-providers and holders of Internet resources to begin the opened and mass campaign against the similar decisions of Y. Tymoshenko, which not consonant with the code of conduct of leaders of the European states.
