| “Public opinion better than any censorship”, - Soskin |
Oleg Soskin, Director of the Institute of Society Transformation, is doubting the results of researches, provided by Gorshenin Institutem about that majority of Ukrainians blame on lack of information in mass media. “I can`t believe, that half of Ukrainian demanding censorship”,- about this he told to the reporter of internet-publication “Gart”.
Together with that, on opinion of the expert, the biggest amount of amoral elements consists in russian production, which is rebroadcasted in Ukraine. “In order to limit depravity and violence – we need to limit russian film industry on our TVs. Russian loathsomeness- “Comedy Club” and “Kryve dzerkalo” should be forbidden in Ukraine. We must show serious national and western programs – scientific, research, cultural, educational”,- stressing Mr. Soskin.
In same time expert believes, that censorship in mass media should be introduced in form of law, because, as he says, “it is a returning to communist limitations”.
“Rejection from amorality, on first place, might be public opinion”, - stressing politologist. - Public opinion better than any censorship. With the help of the law, restriction, amorality could be drove in underground, where it will become even stronger. But if society is not perceiving and ignoring information – it`s the best way to fight with amorality”.
Hereby Mr. Soskin adds, that development of establishing of moral guidelines in society, could be reached only with the help of right education. “There is no need to limit person from the outside, if the person would have moral restrictions and censorship inside”, - he adds.
