| Meeting in commemoration of Ukrainian nationalists in Babiy Yar |
February 21, 2004 Oleh Soskin, the UNCP Chairman, and members of Kyiv city organization of the party, together with Kyiv city organization of the UUN (Melnikivtsy) and others Ukrainian patriots took part in the meeting – commemoration of Ukrainian nationalists, whom the Nazis executed by shooting in Babiy Yar. Pavlo Dorozhynskyi, Chairman of UUN Kyiv, chief editor of “Samostiyna Ukraina” magazine, presided over the meeting.

Today we have again met in Babiy Yar, where fascist invaders executed Olena Teliga and many others Ukrainian Nationalists that cloudy February morning of 1942. This is a site where ethnocide and genocide against Ukrainian nation revealed brutally, and blood of Ukrainian nationalists-patriots calls for revenge. They devoted their lives to our today’s living.
Not so many people have come at the meeting, as we would like to see here. Unfortunately, significant part of today’s Ukrainians adheres destructive principles "I need nothing, just don’t touch me". However, time of resolute and radical changes is coming. Nobody would remain aloof.
I think, the nation should be aware of its tragedies and heroes. Therefore, firstly, there must be a Ukrainian Christian Church in Babiy Yar – a place being a symbol of terrible torments Ukrainian people had – which will be a place of worship services for Ukrainian Orthodox of Kyiv patriarchy, Greek-Catholics, Catholics, and autocephalists, as we have nothing to part - all of us are Ukrainian Christians, children of this land. Secondly, it is necessary to construct a memorial complex in memory of victims of Ukrainian nation, victims of dearths, Ukrainian genocide and ethnocide.
The Ukrainian National Conservative party considers, that the time of national revival and reestablishment of historical dignity is coming inevitably, that the epoch of cosmopolitan and bandocratic government draws to a close. Therefore, soon we would be able to honor Ukrainian heroes and say names of the traitors openly.
Immortal words: "We shall construct Ukrainian United Independent State!" is heard again. And I am sure: new fighters for establishment of Ukrainian National State, worthy successors of famous predecessors, such as Olen Teliga, Oleh Olzhych, Stepan Bandera, Yaroslava Stetzko will appear soon.
So, let we bow to those who have shown us an example of being a son of Native land, struggling for its freedom. And, let God help us manage to make conclusions of their struggle and life and to not obey. Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory to Ukraine!
