| New Internet resource - web-portal “Presidential elections – 2004: people should know the truth” |
Ladies and gentlemen,
Institute of Society Transformation (IST), the leading scientifically-analytical centre in Ukraine, would like to draw your attention to its new Internet resource. It is web-portal, named “Presidential elections – 2004: people should know the truth” (www.vybory.osp-ua.info). This unique independent project was worked out and inculcated by IST on its own expense and without assistance and is aimed at giving an objective account of Presidential elections 2004.
Web-portal “Presidential elections – 2004: people should know the truth” is an integral product. It contains:
Official information about election process and presidential contenders of Ukraine; election calendar; operative news about election campaign course (actions, events, statements, interviews);
Materials of public opinion poll;
The most interesting analytical materials, articles, commentaries;
Monitoring of foreign mass-media about Presidential campaign in Ukraine is presented in the part “World about UA elections”;
The part “Voices from Diaspora” is represented by Ukrainian Diaspora’s view at election process course in our country.
Our new portal consolidates in common net sites of 27 Ukrainian cities. Every site contains information module “Presidential elections – 2004”, which structure is the following: Legislation, Candidates, Election committee, Election calendar, City events. Information about pre-election situation in every from 27 Ukrainian cities is placed not only on sites of the cities, but also on our portal in general part “Ukrainian cities in vortex of elections”.
The most urgent and constantly renewing materials about special features of Presidential elections campaign course in Ukrainian cities is the great part of informational filling of these sites.
Every week we prepare and send out Internet edition “Information bulletin of Ukrainian cities”, where the main events of Presidential campaign are elucidated. Information about these events is sent from 27 cities, which are the participants of the project “Ukrainian cities on Internet”. You have an opportunity to subscribe for distribution if you would like to. At present bulletin is sent to more than 2000 e-mails.
Institute of Society Transformation created new web-resource “Internet conference” (www.conference.osp-ua.info), which is a component of portal “Presidential elections – 2004: people should know the truth”. This was made in order to intensify interactive communication between presidential contenders of Ukraine and Ukrainian society during Presidential campaign.
