| Ukrainians, who live abroad, could not vote |
The citizens of Ukraine, who were bereaved of their right to realize their civil obligation, call up the editorial staff of the 5th channel. The number of such people came up to several hundreds in Milan. In Munich the people waited for a half of a day to vote. According to the statement of Ukrainians, who were not able to vote, the have sent appeals to the Central electoral commission.
Iryna Dolga, the citizen of Ukraine, Milan:
There were two hundred electors, but only a half was allowed to vote. We did not receive summons. It had not occurred earlier. There were bad conditions for voting. We were not granted the information, which explained the reasons of such refusal. The representatives of the consulate have not met with us.
Igor, the citizen of Ukraine, Munich
I did not receive the summons to come up on elections. Although I am enrolled on the embassy list. They cut off the lift to prevent electors from getting to the 4th flour, where the commission located. Too many people were refused to vote without any reasons. It took a lot of time to stand in a queue. Thus many people could not stand it and went away. |
