“Mr. Kruglik and Mr. Stelmach are needed to be blacklisted”- Mr. Soskin
Now they need to answer for what they have done. They can work only on garbage, collect food remains and litter. We can`t afford those people in governance. About that today during press-conference in IMC (“InterMedia Consulting”) conference hall by Oleg Soskin, Director of the Institute of Society Transformation. “We can see, that nowadays in banking sector of Ukraine there is very complicated abnormal situation. Above all, affected banks are not with western assets, but with ukrainian one. And who must be the regulator and control the process? It is clear, that such a regulator should be National Bank, as it appears in other countries. But why National Bank not executing it role? Because, bid fair, somehow connected with corruption schemes. And the evidence of this is refinancing dozens billions of hryvnas during October, November, December of 2008”,- Mr. Soskin said. Oleg Soskin noticed that nobody analyzed how were these money used: “Who said, what kind of structures earned those money as a result of refinancing? No one. There was a necessity to give control function to The Security Service of Ukraine and to Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine and fastening it in legislative way, as was proposed by Mrs. Vitrenko in 2001. But this wasn`t done, understandably- because in that way we can get those, who received, with the help of kickback, enormous loans, who used and who didn`t return those loans. In such case, it was a possibility to find out corresponding government structures, the ruling top of Ukraine”. He mentioned about Viktor Uschenko, who said there`s a need in development of crisis-proof program, which involves stabilization in banking sphere in a period of 10 days till 10th of March. “And what? Two weeks passed already, and where`s the program? Nobody needs that program”,- believes O. Soskin. He noted, that because of situation in banking sector of Ukraine, Director of International Relations Department of National Bank of Ukraine Mr Sergiy Kruglyk (“good friend of Stelmach”) and the head of National Bank of Ukraine should answer solidary for what they have done. “They needed to be blacklisted. They can work only on garbage, collect food remains and litter. Nothing more. We can`t afford those people in governance. Management of National Bank of Ukraine warned about problems, caused by their actions. They were warned too, but they haven`t done anything, so why we need them as officials? They robbed millions of people. And who will answer for this?”- expert resumed. InterMedia Consulting
